Cartoon guide to biodiversity loss XIV

30 12 2011

The last post of 2011, I thought I’d focus on the lighter side (that is to say, my brain is muddled by the lovely break from academia, so I don’t really feel like investing too much cerebral energy). Here, therefore, are the latest six cartoons… (see full stock of previous ‘Cartoon guide to biodiversity loss’ compendia here). May fewer species go extinct in 2012 than 2011…

Interesting cartoons, but the vulgarity (2nd cartoon re selection) is unwarranted. Retain your level of professionalism, please.

Don’t like it? Read another blog. People who peddle their self-righteous puritanism in regard to ‘offensive’ cartoons obviously have far too much time on their hands.

Great cartoons about biodiversity loss! I was a bit shocked with the razor cartoon and the Amazonia, because it reflects what is currently happening. Deforestation in Amazonia is terrible not only in big scale but with only a few hectares because you can loose some species because their range of distribution is so limited.
